This installment of Testify (#4) was the best yet.

Breeding Ground took transcripts from the Congressional Hearings on our Voting Systems and cut them down to size for an hour long theatrical experience that left people doubled over in pain from laughing so hard. Or at least that is how I take it, judging from the up roaring hilarious laughter and thunderous applause after each scene!

I am so proud of what we all did.

Each person we represented, that spoke at the Congressional Hearings, had a comical spin.

Doug was the contradictory talk-show host with a microphone attached to an amp, who interjected his own asinine debates at inappropriate moments.

Paul played the per-snickety baker who mixes ingredients in various bowls and bakes cupcakes.

Michelle was the kick ass, sharp shooting lawyer/news caster who rolls around on a swivel chair.

Todd played the over emotional, nerdy, nutty professor with way too much enthusiasm for his bizarre ideas.

Fred arrived late, as a Justin Timberlake/cool dude in a purple suit and ridiculous dance moves

Justin Steeve created an animated School House Rock character called Chad, the Hanging Chad, which was shown on a projector in a South Park style.

And I played an over patriotic, not-all-there, interpreter from Georgia, with my own made up, mimed sign language. I signed to my own pre-recorded voice.

See pix.
